Muzib Mehdy’s growing interest in Zen philosophy inspired him to translate Zen Koans in Bangla and a research on Haiku form. By profession, he is a documentation and publication specialist in a rights-based national development organization. He is also the executive editor of a Bangla gender-based half-yearly journal. He has 15 titles to his name, including five volumes of poetry and three androgynous texts. He won Loke Literary Award in 2011.
