Salma Bani is a fiction writer based in Aurora, Ontario, and an alumnus of the University of Dhaka. Her published works include Bhangari (2001) and Immigration (2014). She is a past recipient of the Kagoj Sahitya Puroskar (2002) and Jibananondo Puroskar (2007)
